NAUGHTY KRATO : NOT JUST A BURGER!

The Foodie Bloggah Sistah is now on search for the best 5 Burgers in town... or maybe around the corner of Makati and Manila area. Yesterday, we got to try something new...

Let me introduce to you, Naughty Krato Burgers Flame Grilled Burger. I learned from their staff that this business started from their first bazaar experience in Hugo Plaza.  Then after that, the rest is history. It is owned by a humble couple who named Naughty Krato after their son's 2nd name. This 9 month old NK has already made some noise around the metro. Getting visitors coming from different places, like from Bulacan, Las Pinas, Pasay and too many to mention.

We asked the staff what burger can she suggest us to try since it's our first visit. They recommended the 4 layered patty burger, covered with melted cheese and fresh vegetable underneath the pure beef patties. It can also be served with freshly deep fry french fries for a little add on.  

This burger is HUGE! This is the main star! An Awesome Burger!

It actually taste good! Juicy flame grilled quality meat at an affordable price! What burger brands can say about this?

You can enjoy a flame-grilled burger from P50 and up!

PESTO with GARLIC BREAD @ P70

This kind of pasta is my daughter's favorite. I'm glad she's able to finish an order for her dinner. If you are craving for pesto but in a tight budget, well this is the answer to your cravings! 

BACON & EGG SPAGHETTI @ P80

Here's another pasta that will make you crave for more! This tasty spaghetti served with garlic bread can compete with what the fast food chains offers. The sauce is so thick and so saucy! 

T-BONE STEAK @ P135

Who says we need to go to the mall or fancy restaurant to have a taste and experience of a T-Bone Steak? Here at NK, they serve the best gravy with their tender steak. This sizzling T is a winner!

Naughty Krato is located near Plaza Hugo of Sta Ana. The place might be small but can actually make an intimate dining experience too. They also have chairs and tables outside for a street dining thrill. It is an open air venue, meaning no air condition system. You can have the option to dine-in or have your order for take out.

WENDY'S: My Salad Bar Adventure!

Wendy's Salad Bar 

is back!

Back in our high school and college years, we usually by stand at Wendy's and digs in to our salad tower.  It was also our bonding meal with our cousins!  So glad to have the salad bar back!

I usually make this salad tower for my hubby, who really eats like a King!  My daughter loves the potato and the macaroni salad as well.  Honestly, I do not really eat much of the salad that I made. I just like building one and just happy to see my companion eating them...

There was this time when a foreigner approached our table and asked my permission to take a photo of my salad tower. He said " I have never seen a tall salad like this in Europe."  Hahahaha, maybe that's his subtle way of saying...hey , what a BIG APPETITE you must have...

Some were just looking at me while building it tall and also asked for photo with my tower. It's just fun! I love doing it to relax and bring out the frustrated engineer me...

Well, I'll share with you guys how to make a TALL SALAD!


1. Be ready with your 2 basic tools...2 forks!

2.  Start with the lettuce as the base. Next is the potato salad.  Why potato salad? Because it is heavy, kinda sticky and can hold together. 

3. Sprinkle some cheese to make the potato much more sticky together.

4.  You can now add some macaroni salad on top of the potato.  Sprinkle some cheese again on top of the macaroni. The same with potato salad, the cheese can hold them together.

5.You can put some grated carrots if you like the idea.

6 .You can put some more of macaroni salad if you have a big appetite for that day.  Just don't forget the sprinkle of cheese afterwards.

7 .You can put fruit salad around the circle.  Just be careful in compressing them together so  your tower will not fall.

 

8 .  My second to the last stuff is the jelo! My favorite!

9.   And lastly, the thousand island dressings! Those are my favorite stuff. I do not put eggs on my salad since I have sensitive stomach...You can put everything there, just make it sure that you'll do it according to their weight.
