MATI'S MEAT & BREAD: Affordable Prime Steak in Town!

First time to attend Bloggers Lunch @ Mati's Meat and Bread. Got so excited to taste their extraordinary dishes. A fusion of American, Spanish and Filipino dishes I could say.

If you like steak but you're in a tight budget, no need to fret as Mati's Meat and Bread offers the best value for Steaks at affordable prices.

Opened in October 2014, Matis Meat and Bread is located at the new extension of Festival Mall which has the stunning view of River Park. The ambiance is so relaxing. I really love their location!

The dining area is huge, so spacious. I really like high ceilings too. The long stairs will bring you to the kitchen area and function room.

The restaurant's walls are made of clear glass giving it's diners a view of lush green landscaping.  Also catering towards yuppies, millennials and young at hearts (with caution, watch the b.p. first). Matis Meat and Bread is a perfect place to sit back and enjoy a nice meal of premium dishes and steaks at reasonable prices.

Mati's has a cozy dining area. A perfect place for a date, family gatherings or chit chat even with your friends and colleagues.

Whenever I visit a restaurant or any dining place, I always check the wash room.  Mati's got a nice and clean one with wood flooring and bidet sprayer.  I believe that an establishment with a good comfort rooms are the ones who are successful. Why, because dining in is just like eating in your own house, you must have a comfortable comfort room if in case of any nature's call. Will you go back and visit a restaurant with ugly wash rooms?

The most important part...

Mati's Interesting Menu!

CREAMY SPINACH DIP @ P280

What A Gastronomic Day!

Mati's Meat and Bread is owned by Paul and Caron Macasaet. Young couple entrepreneurs! By the way, they are so cool and generous too. They actually named Mati's after their son Mateo.  The restaurant is a subsidiary of Melo's Steakhouse who pioneered Certified Angus Beef in Philippines.

Mati's Meat and Bread is set to open a branch in Bonifacio Global City Taguig before the end of 2015.  I am so excited since I live nearby!

Review:THE OLD SPAGHETTI HOUSE | Pasta all-you-can Experience!

We are the family who will try our best to get and grab the food promos available in town!

We got a chance to dine at the Old Spaghetti House located in Paseo Parkview Tower Valero cor, Sedeno St. Makati City.  The ambiance is beautiful and cold. We arrived early around 4pm, meaning we're really early before the Pasta ALL YOU CAN starts.  But, there are some guys who came in much earlier than us.  And so we waited, unfortunately, the 5:00pm extended few minutes to open the buffet of pasta and pizza.  Was just surprised to see customers from the upper area came done and was the one who's able to go straight to the buffet table. We were seated on the ground level where the buffet table is located.  As a woman with voice... of course I called the attention of the manager.  He apologized and made his way to make up by serving us a plate of pasta and pizza for our daughter who's already hungry.

The food is just fine.  I also cook and I could say that the taste is just ok and not a wow.  I was able to try TOSH before and was not actually that satisfied with my experience. I believe it was years ago the 1st and the last time I was able to dine in at their old branch in Waltermart Makati.  I only gave it a try this time with their Pasta-All-Can promo.  Unfortunately, my taste bud felt sad.  Not able to enjoy their eat all you can pasta/pizza.  This is my problem as a mom who cooks a lot.  It's kinda hard to please my tummy.

Whenever I feel tired and not in the mood for cooking, we would visit my very few favorite restaurants/fast food around the metro.  I thought I could satisfy hunger that afternoon...

At the end of the day, my hubby reminded me. " I told you, I don't like it here."

But anyways, the food is just fine.

Here's how it looks...

PESTO

                                              ALFREDO

POMODORO

Peeps waiting outside to get there seats...

BRANCHES

I am just happy that the tall, dark and handsome manager was so friendly and accommodating to their guest.  He's also a father who can feel for hungry kids...He mentioned that he has daughters too, same age as ours.

Well, the over-all experience with the pasta-all-you can in the rate of 5 as the highest...I could give it a 3.5 since.  The ambiance was nice plus the manager in-charged was pleasant enough to attend to the needs of their customer.

By the way, there is a No Left-over policy...Php 100 if you have some. Sad, we're charged of the 100 because of my left over:(

Make it sure to go there with hungry stomach! Be ready with your BIG APPETITE!

Happy Eating to all the Pasta and Pizza Lovers!
